Police Beat – March 11
ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
At around 2 a.m. on Saturday, the man allegedly intentionally jumped up to strike an exit sign on the ceiling of the H building, causing the sign to dislodge and break into pieces, police reported.
The bicycle was estimated to be worth around $200 and belonged to a 19-year-old female undergraduate, police reported.
Tempe Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:
He was taken to Tempe City Jail, booked and processed, according to a report.
The man was pulled over for a traffic violation when a search revealed that he had a syringe and a usable quantity of heroin in the vehicle, according to a report.
A search of his person revealed a small quantity of white powder in his front pants pocket, police reported.
He was processed and released pending charges, according to a report.
A search revealed that the man was in possession of a usable amount of a white, crystal-like substance believed to be methamphetamine, according to a report.
He was transferred to Tempe City Jail and released pending charges, police reported.
