Police Beat: July 30

ASU Police reported the following incidents Friday:

Two ASU students, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, were arrested at Vista del Sol on July 25 at about 2 a.m. on suspicion of being minors with alcohol in their bodies, police reported.

Officers originally contacted the two after receiving a report of a possible physical altercation, according to a police report.

Police concluded after an investigation that both underage students had consumed alcoholic beverages, police reported.

Whether the physical altercation took place was inconclusive, according to a police report.

Police located a blue and silver 20-inch Mongoose trail bike in the northeast fields of the West campus at 4701 W. Thunderbird Road on July 25 at about 10 a.m., according to a police report.

The bike was impounded for safekeeping at the ASU West Division Police Department, police reported.

An unknown suspect committed vehicle burglary in a parking area near Sun Devil Stadium at 401 E. Veterans Way, police reported.

The burglary took place between July 17 and 23, according to a police report.

The suspect knowingly and intentionally broke the front passenger side window of the vehicle and took the victim’s radio from the center console, according to a police report.
