ASU Police reported the following incidents Friday:
- A Scottsdale woman was placed on suspension from the Department of the Army on Sept. 12 on the 900 block of South Cady Mall for threatening a sergeant, according to a police report.
The woman is a civilian employee at the Department of Defense and was reported to have verbally threatened the man after an argument over administrative paperwork, police reported.
Witnesses overheard the man and woman in the Social Sciences Building disputing Army policies and missing information, according to the report.
The woman threatened the sergeant with profanity and later told other ROTC officials she would “bring her piece to deal with him her way,” police reported.
A lieutenant reported, the woman is currently on suspension and is not allowed to enter the ROTC offices at ASU or Grand Canyon University, according to the report.
The woman’s removal from the program is still pending, police reported.
- A Tempe man was arrested Sept. 13 on the 900 block of South Terrace Road on suspicion of minor in consumption, according to a police report.
Police arrived at the Cholla Apartments dorms after receiving a call that someone smelled marijuana in one of the rooms, police reported.
Police saw two men leave the dorm with the marijuana odor and run down the stairs after seeing officers approaching, according to the report.
There were several people in the room when police entered and the resident told officers they could search the dorm for marijuana, police reported.
Police smelled alcohol on the man’s breath and found a bottle of alcohol in the refrigerator, according to the report.
The man told police the bottle belonged to his stepfather who was also in the room, police reported.
Officers did not find marijuana in the room, police reported.
The man was cited for underage drinking, according to the report.
