ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- A 28-year-old Glendale man was arrested Oct. 18 on the 4000 block of West Wood Drive on suspicion of disorderly conduct and public urination, according to a police report.Police arrived at an ASU bus stop near the police station on the West campus in Glendale, after receiving calls about a disturbing rider, police reported.
Witnesses told police the man acted “belligerent” toward passengers and the driver, according to the report.
Police saw the man approximately six feet away urinating on some rocks, police reported.
Officers heard the man say, “Be quiet. You didn’t see me,” and smelled alcohol on his breath when they approached him, according to the report.
Police made three attempts instructing the man to place his hands behind his back, police reported.
A witness told police the man was making gun signs at him and did not cooperate with the bus driver, according to the report.
Police brought the man to the ASU Police Station and cited him, police reported.
- A Tempe man was arrested Oct. 14 on the 500 block of East Veterans Way on suspicion of minor in consumption, according to a police report.Police arrived at the San Pablo dorms because someone reported a marijuana odor in a student’s room, police reported.
Officers smelled alcohol on the resident’s breath and noticed he had bloodshot, watery eyes, according to the report.
The man told police he drank two or three beers that night, and a Breathalyzer test revealed that he had a .069 blood alcohol concentration, police reported.
Police arrested the man and cited him on suspicion of underage drinking, according to the report.
