This Saturday I took an exciting trip to the grocery story (very, very exciting), when I came face to face with a woman selling a few puppies. Being a lover of all things cute and cuddly, I couldn’t resist. So, I would like to introduce you to my new friend Joey. He’s a tiny ball of fluff, a yorkie-poo as they say.
I have a tiny inkling of what it is like to raise a baby after my first night with Joey. He wakes up every two hours crying and constantly wants attention.
The other aspects of my new acquisitions this week were a lot less needy (and cheaper, might I add).
Beyond the Barnes and Nobles of the world is your local Goodwill. And its best friend, Savers.
My mom isn’t a fan of taking me to Goodwill because I always trudge back to our shared cart with an armful of books. The same goes with Savers. I go in expecting to buy lots of great, thrifty clothes, and come out with ten books I have no time for but every desire to read.
In with the new, as they say. Welcome home Joey, meet your new roommates, twenty $1.99 books.
