Tempe Police reported the following incidents Sunday:
- A 35-year-old Phoenix man was arrested Sept. 19 on the 2000 block of South McClintock Drive on suspicion of criminal trespassing and marijuana possession, according to a police report.
In the early morning hours, a witness saw two men entering his garage with flashlights, the report said.
The witness interrupted the two men, who then ran to a car and fled, police reported.
Police later found the car that matched the description given by the witness, according to police.
The witness identified the man from a photo lineup, and the second man told police he had entered the garage with the other man, according to the report.
Before police transported the man to jail, he told officers he had marijuana hidden in his scrotum and police reported finding a usable quantity of marijuana in saran wrap under his scrotum.
The man was taken to Tempe City Jail, where he was booked and held to see a judge, according to the report.
- A 34-year-old Guadalupe woman was arrested Sept. 22 at West Broadway Road and South Roosevelt Street on suspicion of dangerous drug possession and failure to appear, according to a police report.
Officers contacted the woman while she was walking northbound on Roosevelt Street and the woman voluntarily spoke with police, according to the report.
After showing police her identification, a background check revealed she had an outstanding Tempe warrant, the report said.
A search revealed a small baggie that contained crystal methamphetamine in her purse, police said.
Police reported that she said she had smoked some of the methamphetamine about two hours before she was arrested.
She was transported to Tempe City Jail, where she was booked and released pending charges, the report said.
