Arizona Board of Regents unanimously approves athletic fee, tuition proposal

The Arizona Board of Regents voted Thursday to approve ASU’s tuition proposal for the 2014–2015 academic year, including a $150-per-year athletic fee.

Tuition will not increase for in-state undergraduates. Tuition for out-of-state undergraduates and all graduate students will increase by 3 percent.

The athletic fee was addressed briefly during the meeting when University President Michael Crow gave a short summary of what the funds would be used for, emphasizing that the fee is a reallocation of resources rather than an new source of income for Sun Devil Athletics.

The tuition proposal was approved unanimously.
