Brice Schwab, one of the nation’s top junior-college offensive linemen, gave his verbal commitment to ASU on Wednesday, Rivals.com and The Arizona Republic reported.

Schwab was originally committed to USC before deciding he wanted to re-evaluate his options after coach Pete Carroll left Los Angeles to take the head coaching position with the Seattle Seahawks.

The 6-foot-8, 320-pound tackle attended Palomar Community College in California last season after playing his high school ball in Pennsylvania. He is a four-star recruit, according to Rivals.

The ASU offensive line will lose tackle Shawn Lauvao and center Thomas Altieri to graduation next season.

Recruits can begin signing letters of intent on Feb. 3.
