The ASU softball team is ranked seventh in the ESPN.com/USA Softball preseason poll.

The Sun Devils advanced to their fourth straight Women’s College World Series last season.

ASU is one of six Pac-10 teams ranked in the top 15, joining No. 1 Washington, No. 4 UA, No. 6 UCLA, No. 11 California and No. 12 Stanford.

No. 2 Alabama, No. 3 Michigan, No. 5 Florida, No. 8 Georgia, No. 9 Missouri, and No. 10 Oklahoma round out the rest of the top 10.
