Josh Howard of the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks has made a fool out of himself yet again.
Last week, a cell-phone video surfaced on YouTube in which he distastefully trashed the national anthem.
Howard’s most recent faux pas came after a pretty tumultuous summer.
During the Maverick’s first-round playoff series against New Orleans, he mentioned on a radio show that he enjoyed smoking marijuana.
Later in that series, after a loss in Game 4, Howard decided to throw an all-night party.
Guess who won that series?
Then in July, he was arrested for drag racing.
In the video, Howard said, “The Star Spangled Banner is going on right now. I don’t even celebrate that [expletive]. I’m black.”
But he also made an unclear comment about Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama.
Apparently, he still celebrates his right to vote.
