Ever heard the saying, “Drive south ‘til you smell it; drive east ‘til you step in it?”

Usually, it’s interpreted as simple directions to get to Tucson.

But this weekend, it wasn’t our lovable rival creating the stink.

That stench you can still smell is coming from the ASU offense.

Imagine a stale fart to the max. Like a season-long fart.

Heck, imagine a 44-year old fart, because that’s how long it’s been since UA beat ASU so bad.

Depending how you look at it, though, ASU did have some high points during the season.

Here’s my top three:

No. 1: ASU beats Washington 39-19 on Nov. 8.

On the road no less.

Think if the Sun Devils were the only team to lose to UW.

How embarrassing would that be?

No. 2: The Sun Devils shut out Washington State 31-0 on Nov. 15.

To beat both Washington schools in back-to-back weeks was incredible.

No. 3: Still searching…
