Although that trusty best friend is always there to offer up some fashion advice and stand in as a second mirror, sometimes it’s necessary to get a little guidance and advice from other, more experienced sources. Some girls turn to Vogue and Lucky. Men turn to GQ or Details.
But here at ASU, most students can’t afford a $638 blouse by some up-and-coming designer. And many ASU fashionistas don’t find commercial magazines all that inspiring. These fashion sites have got the dilemmas covered:
chictopia.com
This site offers dynamic fashion coverage in a few different ways. Users can become a member, and the site will offer examples of inspiring outfits on fashionable women with a similar style, skin tone and body type. Or users can skip the details and just look at the site’s look book, which is a photography collection of popular and innovative styles.
Hel-looks.com
Hel Looks is a collection of photographs of stylish, cool looking people in Helinksi Finland. There are photographs of children, teenagers, young adults and adults. They are all unique and stylish and some are rather odd. This site is inspiration to anyone looking for new, fresh ideas for a unique style.
There are a lot of fashion blogs that offer specialized tidbits and guidance. It’s just a matter of finding them on the web. Also check out vintagefashionguild.blogspot.com/, theartofthesteal.com and streetpeeper.com.
