Listen up, Arizona: You’re about to be blessed with a sporting event so huge it will take years to forget it.
That’s right.
Wrestlemania is coming to Glendale.
For those of you who don’t know what Wrestlemania is, it is the single most anticipated World Wrestling Entertainment event of the year, complete with chairs, special effects and plenty of opportunity for people watching.
Wrestlers, and even the Arizona Cardinals head coach Ken Whisenhunt, have compared this main event to the Super Bowl, and the Cardinals are more than willing to share their stadium with their colorful-costume-wearing athlete counterparts.
What’s more is that it’s going to help the economy.
And what could possibly be better than big, otherwise scary men doing the economy a favor?
WrestleMania Axxess, a close comparison to the NFL Experience, will set up a few days prior to the main event, scheduled for March 28, 2010, and is expected to bring in 65,000 people to the stadium alone.
This year’s event celebrated its 25th anniversary in Houston.
