Cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones has recently signed a one-year contract with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.

Unable to be picked up by an NFL team, Jones told Sports Illustrated, “Things happen and you just have to adjust,” referring to his stint with the CFL. He conceded that not being on an NFL team this season, though, is “disappointing.”

Jones is well known for an extensive rap sheet of felonies such as vandalism, drug possession, assault and who can forget the time he beat up his own bodyguard outside a nightclub?

What he fails to grasp is that one out of thousands of athletes will actually make it to the professional level.

He was one of those thousands, and there are so many players who would kill to be in his position.

You can’t change a person like Pacman Jones, and that is obvious.
While some NFL analysts believe Jones will one day return to the NFL if he changes his ways, this analyst thinks we won’t see him playing in the NFL next year or ever again for that matter.
