ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • Between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. on Monday, an unknown suspect or suspects broke into a car and stole audio equipment, police reported.

    The suspect broke in through the front passenger side window of an SUV while it was parked in the Vista del Sol parking structure on the Tempe campus, according to the police report.

    The total cost of the audio equipment and the damaged window is believed to be $2,200, police reported.

  • An 18-year-old ASU student was arrested Sunday on the 800 block of East Lemon Street on suspicion of disorderly conduct and under 21 with alcohol in the body, police reported.

    The man reportedly picked up a pool cue and threatened five people while he was intoxicated, according to a police report.

    He was transported to the 4th Avenue Jail on one count of disorderly conduct and one count of being under 21 with alcohol in the body, police reported.

Tempe Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:

  • A 29-year-old Tempe man was arrested Sunday night on the 600 block of South Priest Drive for an outstanding Maricopa County Superior Court warrant for possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

    The man was found hiding underneath a bed, according a police report.

    The man was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of possession of narcotic drugs, police reported.

  • A 22-year-old Mesa man was arrested Sunday afternoon near Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe on suspicion of flight, endangerment and false reporting, police reported.

    The man attempted to elude police who were conducting a traffic stop and began speeding through the parking lot, according to a police report.

    He was spotted by mall security and contacted at his work phone, police reported.

    The man then gave police false information, saying that he did not drive to work. He also had no identification and gave three different addresses, according to a report.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail and held on one count of felony flight, one count of endangerment and one count of false reporting, police reported.

  • A 40-year-old transient woman was arrested Sunday morning on the 300 block of West Washington Street on suspicion of criminal trespassing, police reported.

    The woman was observed walking northbound on the light-rail tracks between Tempe Beach Park and Washington Street, according to the police report.

    She was also seen crossing the bridge over Tempe Town Lake, police reported.

    Metro officials were alerted after warning sensors were activated to notify that a pedestrian was on the bridge, according to a report.

    She was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of criminal trespassing in the first degree, police reported.

  • A 21-year-old ASU student was arrested early Sunday morning on South Sixth Street and East College Avenue on suspicion of flight and driving under the influence, police reported.

    The officer reportedly observed the man drive his car over a curb and swerve outside his lane several times, according to a police report.

    The vehicle was stopped and the officer began to approach on foot. Then the driver fled quickly and was chased for several minutes, police reported.

    He was transported to Tempe City Jail on one count of felony flight, one count of DUI extreme, one count of DUI blood-alcohol level of .08 percent or above and one count DUI slightest degree, according to a report.
