I want to learn how to ride a bull. Really.
Junior Seau did it, so why can’t I?
Last weekend at the Professional Bull Riders’ Dickies Invitational at the Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., he made his move.
He’s taken on Rams, Lions, Panthers and Bears, but never an actual bull, and never in my life have I seen a man more in tune with his element.
This is a guy who has made his living approaching the line of scrimmage and plowing over the opposing team.
Now, the former linebacker was standing up to the bull in much the same way — this time, however, the opposition plowed over him.
Still, in true Seau fashion, he hopped right up and reported only minor injuries in a post-ride interview.
It’s just one of the ways former professional athletes have managed to stay in the limelight, but Seau’s activity doesn’t stop there.
Next up, he will shoot 10 episodes of a TV show called “Sports Jobs with Junior Seau” for the Versus network.
Not quite a Patriots game, but we’ll take it.
