ASU police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- Between the hours of 1 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Monday an 18-year-old ASU student’s car was criminally damaged, police reported.
The vehicle was parked on the top level of the Rural Road Parking Structure, 1100 S. Rural Road, according to the police report.
The car was keyed on the driver’s side, and the estimated damage is $400, police reported.
There are no suspects or leads at this time, according to the report.
- Police impounded a fictitious Texas driver’s license for destruction Saturday at the ASU Police Department, police reported.
A police aide came into contact with the license and verified its falsity through ASU police communications, according to the report.
The false license was issued under the name of a 20-year-old female ASU student, police reported.
- An unknown suspect stole a golf cart owned by ASU between
the hours of 12:30 and 8 a.m. on Wednesday, police reported.The vehicle was parked on the east side of the Psychology North building at 900 S. McAllister Ave., according to the report.
The cart is valued at approximately $2,000, police reported.
There are no leads or suspects at this time, according to the police report.
Tempe police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- A 35-year-old Mesa woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of prostitution and possessing dangerous drugs, police reported.
The woman was apprehended for suspicion of prostitution on the 2400 block of East Del Rio Avenue, according to the report.
Investigation revealed that the woman made an arrangement with an undercover officer for two separate illegal sexual encounters with two separate females.
Police found she is the “madam” of the two women, police reported.
Upon arresting the woman, police conducted a search and found she had a usable quantity of cocaine, according to the report.The suspect was booked at the Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge on the prostitution charge, police reported.
- A 19-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Monday on suspicion of theft of a credit card, police reported.
The suspect was apprehended on the 100 block of East Fifth Street, according to the police report.
The investigation revealed that the woman purchased a $500 Lane Bryant gift card using the credit card while she was employed at the retail store, according to the police report.
The woman submitted a written confession when she was terminated by the store for using the credit card without permission, police reported.
She was booked into the Tempe City Jail and held to see a judge, according to the report.
