Congratulations to Roger Goodell.

It’s supposed to be the sandbox of life.

Sport — a safe haven for a playful diversion, a showcase of inclusion.

Check your political and cultural differences at the gates; jersey color is the only superficial distinction of substance.

Rush Limbaugh’s exclusion from the NFL is a victory, not for progressives, moderates or liberals — but for anyone who abhors bigotry, which should be everyone.

It’s ironic, but not because Limbaugh’s demagoguery veiled as ideology was a semi-plausible premise for the forbiddance — an act of discrimination to the nearsighted eye.

There are losers in sports, and there are losers in capitalism.

Kicked out of the former twice and a master of the latter, Limbaugh’s act is well known.

Whether he’s completely genuine, or even conscious given his pill-popping plight, is immaterial.

Limbaugh, ringleader of the AM hate-radio profiteers, is now bemoaning what is clearly an inherent disadvantage.

While it’s been known for some time that he’s just another addict, it’s clear now he’s just another minority locked out of what once was a “good ole boy” network.

Disguised behind well-crafted oration, Limbaugh’s radio-wave caricature represents the ills of old thinking.

Poetic justice.

It’s now come full circle.
