I have to say that I was impressed with the Cardinals’ game on Sunday.
I was one of those early doubters. After losing in the Super Bowl, and after the first two losses of the season to the San Francisco 49ers, 20-16, and the Indianapolis Colts, 31-10, I was ready to call it over.
The Cardinals’ 24-17 victory over the New York Giants was enough to turn my doubts around. The technique the Cardinals used to win impressed me even more.
A strong defense was enough to pull a win for the Cardinals. The players seemed more intense and were focused on getting the job done defensively.
If the Cardinals keep this up, they have a real chance to make it to the playoffs this year.
The Cardinals can do it. They’re going to be playing the St. Louis Rams twice, whose record is currently 0-7.
The Tennessee Titans don’t have a record that says much either, being 0-6.
As long as the Cardinals keep doing what they did on Sunday, and don’t let their wins make them forget how hard they need to work, I can see them securing one of the six NFC playoff spots.
