Last week, I incorrectly made fun of the Arizona Cardinals.

I’d like to take this opportunity to publicly apologize for that.

I was wrong.

With Seattle struggling and San Francisco and St. Louis both swimming in the kid’s pool, the Cardinals actually have a decent chance to make the playoffs.

Dare I say the Cardinals are the favorites in their division?

They’ve had 10 straight games with 20 or more points, and feature the wide-receiving vacuums known as Fitzgerald and Boldin.

Not to mention they have a former MVP and Super Bowl-winning quarterback throwing to them.

About that quarterback, he (Warner) had a perfect passer rating on Sunday.

I may not know what that means (no one really does), but he must have done something right if it was perfect.

It may be early, but who would have thought we would be asking ourselves if Seattle can catch up with Arizona?

So, I’m sorry, Cardinals fans. I was wrong to laugh at you.

It won’t happen again — that is, until next season.
