From the runway to the street, it surrounds and intrigues our world. It is not limited to trends and labels. It is culture, personality, and unique to an individual. Generations create fashion; it is a forever changing movement.
My name is Gabrielle Nelson. I am a junior at the Herberger Institute majoring in Art Studies while also earning a certificate in Entrepreneurship from the WP Carey School of Business. I have always been an observer of the world around me and captivated by clothing and creativity. Treasure hunting, creating, photographing, styling and finding inspiration are my ideas of down time. I am fascinated by different eras and cultures, and my style changes from day to day.
Arizona State University is one of the largest schools in the nation. Thousands of unique personalities and styles are walking around campus everyday. Students major in everything from biology to music and come from all around the globe. The diversity is thrilling to say the least; I couldn’t ask for a better place to be inspired.
The Campus Closet is a blog dedicated to showcasing how our current student body expresses itself through fashion in biweekly posts. Featured in the blog will be street style photographed around ASU, local designers and boutiques, DIY projects for creative students on a budget, tips and tricks for good style in the desert, and whatever else the season may bring.
Fashion blogging has always been a passion of mine. It allows me to inspire and be inspired by sharing my findings and showing off fellow fashion enthusiasts.
