This episode of State Press Conversations centers on a group of ASU professors and students who are working to create adaptive learning devices and technology for visually impaired students in science, technology, engineering and math classes.

Raised images on paper (left) were previously used in science classes by visually impaired students instead of photographs. In two pilot science classes at ASU, blind students are now using plastic tactile images(right) made from photographs in the class curriculum. (Photo by Samantha Valtierra Bush)
