ASU Police reported the following incidents Tuesday:
- A Tempe man was arrested Sunday on the 700 block of East Apache Boulevard on suspicion of underage drinking and possession of a false identification card, according to a police report.Police approached the man after watching him stumble on Paseo Del Saber, police reported.
The man walked toward the Vista Del Sol apartment complex, turned to walk toward Jimmy John’s and passed out on a nearby chair, according to the report.
Police asked to see the man’s ID and noticed he had bloodshot, watery eyes and smelled of alcohol, police reported.
Police noticed the man had another driver’s license from Wisconsin in his wallet, according to the report.
The man told the officer it was a fake ID with a different birthday, police reported.
The officer asked the man the current date and who the president of the U.S. is, to which the man said: June 30 and George Bush, according to the report.
The man took a Breathalyzer test and had a .197 blood alcohol concentration, police reported. Police cited the man on suspicion of minor in consumption and possession of a false ID and released him, according to the report.
- Police are investigating reported graffiti and criminal damage that occurred between Oct. 1 and Oct. 17 on the 1600 block of South McAllister Avenue, according to a police report.A police aide spoke to a Tempe man on the telephone about graffiti that was found on the wall at Central Plant South, police reported.
The man told police the incident occurred between noon and 5 p.m. during the first few weeks of October, according to the report. It will cost approximately $1,000 to repair the wall, police reported.
Police do not have any leads or suspects at this time, according to the report.
