Man arrested on suspicion of trespassing on Tempe campus


ASU Police reported the following incident Monday:

 

A Tempe man was arrested the night of Oct. 22 on the 1000 block of South Forest Mall on suspicion of criminal trespassing, according to a police report.

Police responded to a call from a police aide after he saw three men walking through the Tempe campus, police reported.

Officers approached the men and did a warrant check, according to the report.

The men were intoxicated but of age, police reported.

 

One of the men had a warrant from ASU Police Department and the Tempe Police Department on suspicion of trespassing, police reported.

Another had previously been warned for trespassing on the ASU campus and had been asked to stay off of all four campuses, according to the report.

Police brought the man with the warrants to the 4th Avenue Jail, police reported.

The other man was arrested on suspicion of criminal trespassing, cited and released, according to the report.

The third man was released with no citations, police reported.
