Tempe Police reported the following incident Tuesday:

A 31-year-old Tempe woman was arrested Sunday at Kyrene and Baseline roads on suspicion of marijuana and drug paraphernalia possession, according to a police report.

Officers stopped the woman after they observed her car make a wide right turn and weave in its lane, police reported.

Police arrested her on suspicion of driving under the influence after she said she had been drinking prior to driving, according to the report.

A search of the woman’s vehicle revealed a baggy of a leafy green substance in her purse, police reported.

The woman said she had bought it from a friend in Phoenix earlier that day, according to the report.

The woman said there was also a fake cigarette she used to smoke marijuana and a small joint in her purse, police reported.

During the search, police found drug paraphernalia including bongs, pipes, cigarettes and rolling papers, according to the report.
