The SAG Awards, the award show that takes place right before the Oscars, happened on Jan. 27 in Los Angeles. While celebs might be tired of dolling up week after week and stylists struggle to find something new and star-worthy to wear, The State Press cannot get enough of these red carpet looks. See which celebrities made top five on my best dressed list:

1. Jessica Pare

The "Madmen" star looked ultra chic in a gorgeous, emerald green Jason Wu gown paired with Kimberly McDonald jewelry. Looks like she took some notes from our First Lady, after she, too, chose a Jason Wu number. This ensemble was the perfect fit, comprising delicate chiffon and black accents around the waist and straps. The jewelry was in perfect harmony with the look, featuring gorgeous emerald dangle earrings. Her flawless updo really brought out a classy and Grecian look.

2. Jennifer Lawrence

Despite suffering from a case of walking pneumonia last week, the Silver Lining’s star came to accept her best actress award, while managing to look sophisticated and glam in a midnight blue Christian Couture Haute Couture 2013 gown and Chopard jewelry. Despite what viewers thought was a wardrobe malfunction, turns out the gown was actually designed in three tiers. The tiers are all connected with sheer fabric and when the star hitched her dress up to receive her award, audiences saw the result of the dress’ hidden construction. Lawrence glowed in this number and her stylist picked a great hairstyle for her. She went for an old Hollywood sideswept do and a red lip.

3. Anne Hathaway

Anne Hathaway never fails when it comes to red carpet fashion. The Les Mis star wore a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture 2013 gown paired with Jimmy Choo heels. Hathaway has been sporting a pixie look for the last part of the year, and I feel like this is the best she’s worn it since. The gorgeous tulle skirt draped over sparkling beaded lining was the perfect look for her. She looked like a brunette version of Marilyn Monroe. The dress’s cut is very chic and very old Hollywood style, which is greatly aided by her haircut. The color of this gown is also the perfect contrast to her pale and luminous skin tone. She finished off her look with a red lip, jewelry by Kwait and an Edie Parker clutch.

4. Sarah Hyland

The "Modern Family" star looked gorgeous in a purple floor length Dolce and Gabbana dress and Brian Atwood heels. The floor-length gown was nice change on the carpet partly due to the choice of color and the floral appliques. The look fit her perfectly as it is a perfect embodiment of young and feminine. Hyland finished her look with jewelry from Lorraine Schwartz and a Judith Lieber clutch.

5. Amanda Seyfried

Last but not least, Amanda Seyfried looked sexy and glamorous in a breathtaking Zac Posen Pre-Fall 2013 midnight blue gown. This precious gown is composed of a mermaid cut, with gracefully cascading tiers down the bottom half. She once again made my best dressed list. Despite the sea of midnight blue dresses I spotted last night, she still managed to stand out. She finished off her classy look with the once again all-too popular old Hollywood sideswept hair, which seems to be huge this awards season, a nude lip and a Lorraine Schwartz pendant.
