With spring training starting up, it’s time for everyone’s predictions on how the MLB season will go. So read these bold and not-so-bold predictions now, then either come congratulate or ridicule me in October.
Bold
The Miami Marlins win 80 games. It’s kind of frightening to see how much young talent this team has, and it's close to putting it together.
Not-so-bold
Mike Trout wins the American League MVP award. He has to win one sooner or later, right? Bold
Troy Tulowitzki wins the National League MVP award. If he stays healthy, everyone will see just how good of a baseball player this man is.
Not-so-bold
The St. Louis Cardinals win the NL Central. They’re just kind of a perfect baseball team.
Bold
Of the San Francisco Giants’ additions, one works and one doesn’t. Tim Hudson will be good. Michael Morse, not so much.
Not-so-bold
The Chicago Cubs make it 106 years without a World Series title. This team is a mess.
Bold
The Washington Nationals beat the Oakland A’s in the World Series.
