Phoenix Poetry Slam

Witness new and upcoming local poets at the Lawn Gnome Publishing, hosted by journalism sophomore Hattie Jean Hayes. See experienced and newbie poets take the stage with hopes of making it to the final round at the end of summer. Five judges will be selected from the audience to score participants’ performances. Poets sign-up at 7:30 p.m. and the slam begin at 8 p.m. on Thursday.
