ASU's 38-34 win over then-No. 16 USC Saturday was far from boring. Here are 10 moments from the game that Sun Devil fans won't soon forget.
1. Nelson Agholor returns the punt
The Trojans started the scoring in the first quarter with this 53-yard punt return for touchdown that again reminded Sun Devil fans of ASU's inability to play special teams.
2. DJ Calhoun blindsides Cody Kessler
Let's just say that Kessler will have nightmares of Calhoun after this sack ended the first quarter with a seven-yard loss. The sack was the second of three for the ASU defense Saturday.
3. Kessler takes matters into his own hands
This rushing touchdown looked to put the game just out of reach for the Sun Devils, as Cody Kessler used his legs to make it a two-possession game.
4. DJ Foster finds the endzone
He only rushed for 13 yards, but this touchdown pass from Mike Bercovici brought the Sun Devils within two and gave the ASU contingent a glimmer of hope in the Coliseum.
5. Javorius Allen puts it seemingly out of reach
More than a third of Allen's rushing yards came on this score that again put the Trojans up by nine with just 3:53 remaining in the game.
6. Cameron Smith goes the distance
On the first play of the Sun Devil drive, Mike Bercovici lasered in on Smith for the 73-yard score that restored a little faith in the hearts of Sun Devils everywhere.
7. Bercovici gets in range
There never would have been a 'JaelMary' if Bercovici hadn't found Gary Chambers in the final minute, which shortened the Hail Mary distance by 26 yards.
8. Jaelen Strong makes history
The 'JaelMary' marked the first time ASU had defeated USC at the Coliseum since 1999.
9. Strong in shock
It may have taken a few moments for Strong to realize the scope of what just happened.
10. Strong all smiles
Once he realized what he had done, Strong was ready to go celebrate with the Sun Devil fans that made the trek to Los Angeles.
