Bravo to NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell for suspending Minnesota Viking's running back Adrian Peterson without pay for the remainder of the season. In a letter to Peterson explaining his reasoning, Goodell pointed out that Peterson had expressed no remorse and in fact defended his actions related to his child abuse charges.

Boo to the crash involving an ASU intercampus shuttle that occurred Tuesday afternoon. The bus hit a 58-year-old man crossing the street mid-block near 44th and Washington streets in Phoenix.

President Barack Obama speaks about an executive order that lets millions of college graduates cap their student loan payments at 10 percent of their income, a move he says will help "open the doors of opportunity for all." Bravo to President Barack Obama for taking executive action Thursday to extend protections and opportunities to millions of people who immigrated to the U.S. illegally.

Boo to Bill Cosby for continuing to perform on his comedy tour, despite rape allegations.

Bravo to ASU athletic director Ray Anderson for pursuing #SunDevilHockey and making its DI status a reality.

Boo to a gunman who wounded three people in the Florida State library Wednesday. It's a reprehensible act everywhere, but disturbing what should be a peaceful place of study is especially terrible.

Bravo to trans* awareness week at ASU. As opposed to LGBTQ awareness week, which had nearly no recognition on the University level, this week of events included everything from an LGBTQA community conversation to movie screenings to a trans* awareness ceremony.

Boo to the University of California system increasing tuition yet again. California's horrible financial situation has burdened students and parents with the bill as the state continually cuts funding.

Bravo to the just-released "Pitch Perfect 2" trailer. The original movie, featuring a cast of talented young actresses including Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, was hilarious, and the sequel looks as though it could live up to its predecessor.

Boo to Daniel Handler, the author of The Series of Unfortunate Events, for making a racist joke at National Book Awards. He made a joke about how “Brown Girl Dreaming" author Jacqueline Woodson is allergic to watermelon.
