Senate Bill 1190, which would provide immunity from prosecution to underage drinkers who request medical or law enforcement assistance, advanced the Senate Judiciary Committee on a 6-1 vote.
College students and Undergraduate Student Government members gathered at the hearing and shared anecdotes and testimonies in support of the bill.
