With ASU Student Government elections right around the corner, many students do not know how to apply or what positions are available. Elections, which take place at the end of March, will give any student at ASU, undergraduate or graduate, the ability to make a difference in their school.

USG: Undergraduate Student Government

Each campus has an Undergraduate Student Government and two branches for which students can run for office: the Executive Branch and the Senate. The Executive Branch is composed of a President, a Vice President of Policy and a Vice President of Services, who run together on one ticket. The Senate is composed of representatives from each undergraduate program on that campus.

GPSA: Graduate and Professional Student Association

Similar to USG, Graduate and Professional Student Association has a presence on each campus. However, there are not separate bodies on each campus. There are two branches for which students can run for office: the Executive Committee and the Assembly. The Executive Committee is composed of a President, a Vice President for Internal Affairs, a Vice President for External Affairs and a Vice President for Professional Development. The Assembly is composed of representatives from each graduate program at ASU.
