Bravo to the closed captioning error that lead to a new nickname for Nik Stauskas. The captioning mishap lead to Stauskas being identified as “Sauce Castillo” — a goofy nickname that the Canadian-born Kings rookie may never live down.

Boo to reactions fans had to the announcement that pop star Zayn Malik is leaving One Direction. While it was a sad moment in the lives of 1D fans, minute-long crying videos might have been a bit of an overreaction.

Bravo to the announcement that Radiohead’s “OK Computer” and Lauryn Hill’s “The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill” will be preserved in the Library of Congress. The albums have been deemed eligible for the library because they meet the qualification of being especially “culturally, historically or aesthetically significant.”

Boo-ravo to the purchase of Ted Cruz’s name as a domain. While the politician should have foreseen such an incident happening and purchased the name himself before announcing his candidacy, the hilarity that ensued from tedcruz.com and tedcruzforamerica.com was worth his blunder.

Boo to Senate Bill 1445 advancing to Gov. Ducey. If passed, the bill will prevent police officer’s names from appearing on public records for 60 days following the officer using extreme force.

Bravo to former UNC coach Dean Smith, who left a special gift to former players in his will. Smith, who died last month, left $200 as a sign of his gratitude for each letter winner he coached during his time at UNC.

Boo to Arizona’s Senate Bill 1318 for further restricting women’s rights. The bill ensures that abortion clinics cannot receive federal funding and does not work harmoniously with the Affordable Care Act.

Boo-ravo to the bill that will update the Arizona ID. Arizona licenses will finally meet federal standards after failing to do so since 2008. It’s a shame that it took so long and that everyone will need to get a new ID.

Boo to state Sen. Sylvia Allen who has proposed a bill that, if passed, would require all Arizonans to attend church. Allen believes that this would bring about a “moral rebirth” in Arizona.

Bravo to Giants’ receiver Odell Beckham Jr., who showed up at the SRC on the Tempe campus.Beckham played basketball with ASU students for a few hours.
