"Nice guys finish last!" "Girls only like jerks!" The Nice Guy Syndrome: guys who are nice to girls only to get something in return and then complain when things don't go according to their plans. Well, sorry fellas, but that's not how relationships work. 

From a guy's point of view, they get frustrated that they see bad-boys winning girls over rather than the chivalrous, polite ones. They are frustrated because they feel uncomfortable about being just friends with a girl they are attracted to. 

Ultimately, being nice is something you do because it is human nature. Then again, it is human nature to want something we can’t have.
