Nearly 58,000 college students are considered homeless according to a FAFSA data report in 2013. Ira Sanchez, social work junior, is considered one of those students. In 2008, Sanchez was kicked out of his parents home and has been in temporary living conditions ever since. After graduating from Phoenix College, he wanted to finish his degree at ASU but found it incredibly difficult to find financial resources. Through ASU Student Advocacy and Assistance, Sanchez was able to find on-campus housing in Vista Del Sol.
