Clothing exchange brings a greener alternative to traditional shopping from The State Press on Vimeo.

With Earth Day just around the corner, the Womyn’s Coalition organized an Earth Day Clothing Exchange event to bring awareness to the environmental implications of fast-fashion. Fast-fashion is the rapid production of clothing for stores such as Forever21 and H&M that use harmful toxins that negatively effect the environment. The exchange enabled students to browse donated clothing as a more environmentally friendly alternative. Nearly 200 pieces of clothing were donated to the exchange by almost 40 students.
