Between Thursday at 1 a.m. and Monday at 1 a.m., an unknown person or persons stole a vacuum from a closet inside the Matthews Center on the Tempe campus, police reported.

A 51-year-old transient woman was arrested Thursday around 11:55 p.m. at the Tempe Police Department at 120 E. 5th Street on suspicion of assisting a criminal syndicate, possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug paraphernalia, aggravated identity theft and forgery, police reported.
