It seems like a second chance.

They’re older, and maybe a step slower, but the Phoenix Suns seem to have a second chance to revive their running attack.

It’s almost a rejuvenation.

No longer does the big, paint-clogging cactus that was Shaq handcuff the team.

Channing Frye is having another rookie season.

After an opening act in New York where he posted an average of 12 points per game, a trade to the Trail Blazers saw that point per game total dip below five.

Now, over a four-game stretch with the Suns, he has already surpassed his career total of three-pointers and is averaging close to 20 points per contest.

Nash has a chance to be the assist leader once more.

The 35-year-old posted his sixth career 20-assist game the night before Halloween.

OK, so it has only been four games.

The team is projected to finish anywhere from the seventh spot in the West to as low as 11th by most analysts, but they are all excited to have the old Suns back on the court.

The run and gun is back, but we do not know for how long.
