In the 2017 season, the ASU women’s gymnastics program finished out the year with a 3-10 regular season record, a last place finish at the Pac-12 Championships and one Sun Devil finishing 16th on beam at the 2017 NCAA Regionals.

For the first time since 2014, the No. 17 ASU women’s gymnastics team qualified for regionals as The Sun Devils trekked across the country to Penn State for the Northeast Regional on Saturday to compete against No. 5 Florida, No. 8 Washington, West Virginia, Penn State and New Hampshire.

In its first of two consecutive quad-meets, No. 12 ASU gymnastics traveled to Norman, Oklahoma in what would be a highly contested matchup. The Sun Devils' opponents, No. 1 Oklahoma, No. 10 Arkansas and No. 15 Denver, all came in with gymnasts poised to put on impeccable performances, and the Sun Devils ended in third with a score of 195.700, just behind Denver and Oklahoma.
