Last night when asked about how the Sun Devils would handle No. 10 Oregon State's star senior center, Marie Gulich, head coach Charli Turner Thorne said "you'll have to wait and see." On Friday, ASU fans saw exactly how, as the Sun Devils held Gulich to just four first half points and six on the game on the way to a 57-51 victory over the Oregon State Beavers.

During the regular season, the ASU women's basketball team could always count on its defense, so why would it be any different when the team entered the postseason. Coming into the Pac-12 Women's Basketball Tournament in Seattle, the Sun Devils had the best defense in the conference, holding opponents to 57.3 points per game.
