We’ve recently been graced with a new “Tony Hawk's Pro Skater” game that has not done well — as in, at all. Negative reviews from both sites and players alike bring up graphical glitches, consistent bugs and an overall rushed-out-the-door presentation for “Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 5,” placing much of the blame on developer Robomodo’s shoulders. In short, it’s not the “Pro Skater” many of us have played in the past.

There’s really only one way to describe the Tour de Fat: It's a circus that wears its weird on its sleeve. But that sleeve covers itself in layers of music, bikes, beer and people that want nothing more than to dress up in costumes and have fun with friends. It's one big sideshow-style house party, with the benefit of serving local charities.

If the movie is anything to go on, James “Whitey” Bulger is not too complicated of a man. At times a nice guy, other times violent and ruthless in his pursuits, Bulger’s story is filled with deception, death and intimidation.

The Summer Video Game Drought (capitalized because it is, in fact, a known event) is slowly drawing to a close. While indie and massively multiplayer online games have supplied players over the course of these post-E3 months, we’re slowly creeping closer to the holiday season, where big triple-A games come out of the woodwork.

Down Apache Boulevard lies row after row of strip malls, each carrying many shops or restaurants of different cuisine for the students close to the east side of the Tempe campus to visit. Pizza, sandwich and Asian joints all line the street divided in two by the light rail, so there’s plenty of choices for the discerning foodie.

It’s been two years since M. Night Shyamalan’s last movie, the second of his romp through science fiction and action that, well, did not end well. Post hiatus, the “twist” guy has circled back to his horror and suspense roots with “The Visit,” a film about a naked grandmother clawing at walls, two kids making a documentary and the most suspenseful second half I’ve ever watched.

The original Transporter, Frank Martin, had the ability to think on the fly. This lead to some ridiculous scenes that had no business in reality - making them fun to watch. Yes Frank, you can cover yourself in a
motor oil spill so a group of crooks can’t get a good grip on you during a
fight. Yes, you can definitely flip an Audi upside down to knock off a bomb
attached to its undercarriage on a conveniently placed crane and still land the
car – because you’re Frank Martin.
