She faces obstacles down her strange path of finding a new meaning in life and is even forced to face her inner most demons. The past is always a haunted road to walk down, but as Amanda had to learn, sometimes it is crucial to revisit to gain some understanding and to help with the future. Along the way, she meets fascinating people, or guides down her journey, offering some explanations to her life.
One even include a talented little boy that teaches her the game of basketball through physics and well, time travel. Don't believe me? Watch it. Amanda very much indeed becomes Alice, but in a twisted sense.
There is no white rabbit but there are riddles down her path leading to better understanding once you put them all together.
