The Trunk Space held its first official show Saturday evening at its new location at Grace Lutheran Church in downtown Phoenix. Located near the intersection of Portland Street and 3rd Street, the venue occupies the southernmost building as per a use agreement with the church.

Pink Slip Open Mic is a weekly event in downtown

12 years, much of the happenings in the Phoenix music scene have involved the
small yet popular locale. Ever since the Trunk Space announced it was
closing its doors, loyal patrons and volunteers have been speculating about whether it will reopen and where it will make its new home.
