Where else but Coachella can one see Azealia Banks and Frank Ocean perform in the same atmosphere as Gotye and The Black Keys? The lineup for Lollapalooza features acts like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Calvin Harrisand The Weeknd.

The Kids’ Choice Awards happened Saturday. Though nowhere near as prestigious as many other awards shows (obviously), it was still a good indicator of what people like and who is still relevant in a pop music market overrun with teenyboppers.

Rumors began circulating around the Twitterverse after Billboard.com first reported that Rihanna and Chris Brown, the couple once on the outs, was going to be collaborating on the revamped and remixed version of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake.” With backlash from both critics and die-hard fans alike, Rihanna’s participation in this project would be both a horrible and irrational decision. Apparently, the rumors are true.
