Turner Thorne taking 9-month leave of absence

After 15 straight seasons at the helm of the ASU women’s basketball team, coach Charli Turner Thorne is taking a year off.

NCAA loss didn’t fit with unexpected women’s hoops season

Although being upset in the first round of the NCAA tournament was bitter, there was still some sweetness to be found at the end of the season.

ASU women routed by Temple in first round

Against Temple on Saturday, the ASU women’s basketball team was outplayed at every turn by an Owls team with a very similar style of play. The final result was a 63-45 Temple victory in the first round of the NCAA tournament.
