Woman's car wheels stolen at parking structure

ASU Police reported the following incidents Wednesday:

Police are investigating the theft of wheels Monday from a vehicle at the 1100 block of South Rural Road, according to a police report.

The vehicle's owner told police she left her car on the fourth floor of a parking structure on Feb. 14, and when she returned, the vehicle was placed on blocks and the battery was dead, police reported

While the inside of the car was left untouched, the four rims and tires were valued at $2,500, police reported.

Police believe the thieves are still at large, according to the report.

A bicycle was allegedly stolen between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday on the 800 block of South Forest Mall, according to a police report.

The bike, a white fixed-gear with a broken right pedal, was locked by its frame and wheels with two separate locks outside the College of Design South building, police reported. Both of the locks were cut and left at the scene, according to the report.

The bike is valued at $239, and there are no suspects, leads or witnesses at this time, police reported.
