Update: The situation involving a suspicious box at Tempe Center is now over and the area is clear.
An ASU police official said someone left a box on a pre-pay kiosk in the parking lot of Tempe Center, The Arizona Republic reported.
ASU police told ABC15 the box was part of a student's school project.
According to an ASU Advisory released earlier this morning, ASU Police were actively investigating a situation at the Tempe Center, north of ASU Gammage on the Tempe campus.
