On top of increasing workloads and an approaching midterm, students driving between campuses face a constant threat from an anonymous shooter on one of the Valley’s busiest highways.
Interstate 10 became a developing crime scene Aug. 29 when the first of several shootings began, resulting in 11 confirmed shootings throughout the following week.
Although the Arizona Department of Public Safety has investigated approximately 350 tips as of Monday, the threat of a potential shooter remains.
Students have taken to Twitter to voice concern for their own safety while commuting between campuses.
I take the i-10 freeway back home from ASU a lot and it's especially scary since I have a motorcycle. They need to catch that shooter !
