We broke down ASU hockey's first few weeks as an NCAA program by the numbers. 


ASU's conversion percentage on the power play. The Sun Devils had just one power play goal until their weekend series against Southern New Hampshire where they added eight more. 


ASU's average number of penalty minutes per game. The Sun Devils are averaging 4.7 more penalty minutes than their opponents this season. 


The number of points freshman defenseman Joey Raats has totaled through seven games.   He leads the team in points, but Jordan Masters and Ryan Belonger are also point-per-game guys. 


The attendance for ASU's away game at UConn, which is the largest crowd the Sun Devils have played in front of this season. The team drew crowds of 752 and 696 in its two home games at Oceanside Arena, which seats about 800 fans. 


Percentage of faceoffs ASU won. 


Number of saves for ASU freshman goaltender Ryland Pashovitz. He also leads the team in minutes with 259:32 and boasts an impressive .915 save percentage. 


Average number of shots per game for ASU's opponents. Opponents are averaging about two more shots than the Sun Devils. 


The number of ranked teams ASU has played. ASU lost to then-No. 19 Quinnipiac 5-0 on Oct. 15. 


The number of shots for freshman forward Joe Lappin. He leads the team, with the next highest total being 17 shots by freshman Jordan Masters. 


The number of blocked shots for Ed McGovern. Anthony Croston comes in second in blocks with 10.
