On Friday, ASU softball took on No. 8 Tennessee in the Kajikawa Classic.

The Sun Devils put up three runs in the first inning and held the lead until a three-run home run from Tennessee in the fourth. No more runs were allowed until the eighth inning, when Tennessee scored one in the top of the half.

ASU answered. With runners on second and third, senior outfielder Abby Spiel knocked one in. Tennessee senior pitcher Erin Gabriel attempted an intentional walk, but the ball went wide left and the catcher couldn't grab it.

Senior outfielder Jennifer Soria came around to score, winning the game.
